It moves beyond traditional economic metrics to include social, cultural, and environmental factors, using six sub-indices: Economy, Employment, Enablement, Environment, Engagement, and Experience. The index aims to foster sustainable growth, inclusivity, and community enrichment, providing insights for a regenerative tourism future across Canada.

Competitive insights provide an in-depth understanding of the global travel landscape and empower tourism leaders to plan, market, and develop tourism programming more effectively both domestically and around the globe.

These Release Notes introduce the Canadian Tourism Data Collective, a national platform offering centralized, accessible tourism data and insights for informed decision-making. The document covers platform features, accessibility, and future updates. New additions include the 2024 Tourism GDP Infographic and Resident Sentiment Index. The GTRP Mexico Report is also announced for next week.
